4 Steps to Get a Class A CDL in Oklahoma

1. Review Oklahoma CDL Requirements

You will need to provide required documentation proving your identity.  You can get a CDL application at a local Oklahoma Department of Public Safety Office.

You can get a Class A CDL permit by passing a series of written exams as well as a vision test along with paying the appropriate CDL testing fees.

3. Add CDL Endorsements

N―Tank Vehicle (knowledge test only)
H―Hazardous Materials (knowledge test only)

4. Take Oklahoma CDL Skills Test

In Oklahoma, a CDL driving test must be passed in which the driver completes a 3-part exam that includes a knowledge test, endorsements knowledge test, and skills test.
