Trucker Wayne Talks Tech - Bluetooths & Flashlights
Technology sure has come a long way, even in just the 3 years that I've been a trucker. There are more ways than ever before to stay connected with family and friends while on the road. Over the years, I've also discovered some nice little tools that to make daily tasks like the pre-trip inspection much easier. Watch the video below as I take a closer look at the Cyclops flashlight and the BlueParrott B350XT Bluetooth Headset.

Cyclops Flashlight
The Cyclops flashlight is particularly helpful when it comes to pre-trip inspections...especially in the dark. I can just clip this light onto my hat, turn it on and I'm good to go. No more worrying about holding the flashlight and fumbling around on the dark, cold mornings! It was actually brighter than I thought it might be, so that was a good thing. Big thanks to my brother for getting this flashlight for me.
VXI BlueParrott B350XT Bluetooth Headset
The BlueParrott B350XT headset helps me stay connected on the road. It does a great job blocking out background noise and I am able to hear very clearly when on phon calls (not while driving, of course.) I am also able to stream music or talk radio right from my iPhone to the Bluetooth. While I do wish the volume would go a little louder on music (just fine for calls), I do have to say that this has enhanced my overall listening experience.
