Going To Truck Driving School

Your time at truck driving school will include three different parts of training -- classroom training, range training, and road training. All three parts of training are crucial for success with your carrier company. For example, you can't successfully drive a semi truck on the range if you don't yet know how that very semi truck works -- something you learn during the classroom portion of training. If you cannot shift gears or make adequate turns, you cannot drive successfully on the road. This is why all three phases of CDL training are important to make quality drivers. Instructors work with students to build confidence in each part of training prior to advancing to the next week.

In this collection of videos, truck driving school instructors talk about each part of training. They discuss the schedule, topics of study/practice, and how students can make trucking school the best possible experience for them.
