Richard Mikulich from Driver Solutions Facebook page asks:  Wayne, do you carry chains? If so, have you had to put them on and where?  How long did it take?

Hi Richard,

Thank you for your question and also the very kind words on Facebook about my pictures!

I have not yet had to put chains on this Winter and yes I do have chains. The farthest west I have been was just the other day in Amarillo, Texas and it was really nice there. I did hear they had some snow today, but I was long gone. I've been working the Mid-West, East coast, Northeast and the South this Winter. I haven't run into anything bad enough that I needed chains up to this point. 2 months ago I ran into a pretty good snow storm in the Mountains of New York when I was heading to Ohio. I waited it out until the weather got better and they cleared the roads. I made it on time, but it was very close.

Our company's policy is -  if it's bad enough to put chains on...maybe you should stop and wait a while. You don't get very far very fast with them on anyway.  If I do use them, I'll make sure to blog about it.

Take care and be safe,
